Prodeus Requiem is a great and beautiful Greco-Roman themed campaign with gorgeous level design, a couple custom (and fun) weapons… honestly? You should play it.

I will say though… the finale falls flat on it’s face, and I mean hard. You not only have to dodge traffic (a feature that actually makes a far more unpleasant return from Vox Aeterna, by the same author), but also two giant steel balls that are bouncing around because… uh… why?
And on top of all this is are double tank waves. Prodeus Requiem takes itself (mostly) seriously as a campaign up until this point and it leaves a lot to be desired.

Apparently you can collect gnomes to ease the finale’s difficulty, which is… a choice?
I’m of the opinion that “rewards” shouldn’t be this obligatory. Not to mention, I don’t think first-time players are going to be looking for gnomes to begin with, so why should making the finale easier come after the fact?

Otherwise, it’s a great time.
