The campaign is called “The Betrayal” because that’s what the UI is going to be frequently doing as you play through it.
On the third map, you come across a door blocking access to the saferoom. For some reason, you have to fuel up a chopper in order to get it open. On this map, there’s so many things that are giving the player conflicting information. One indicator points you here. Another indicator points you there. One points inside the chopper once it’s fueled up, another says run to the saferoom. One says a gate is going to open up… but it never opens up. You never go through it at all.
The finale is just as headache inducing. One door that was opened before was now closed after death, and a panel on the wall to control it spawned two tanks either way. Trust me, it’s just as confusing as it sounds.
Also, two tanks in CQC. No thank you.
The bots kept wanting to drown themselves in the water, and honestly, I don’t blame them.
This campaign is simply a betrayal of the senses and your patience. Confusing dialog. Objects being highlighted for no reason. The maps don’t even know what they want, and it’s really not up to the player to figure it out. Stay away.
